This is the redesigned "adapter" part of our popular Oil Filter Relocation Kit. With this revision, we have re-designed the O-ring groove to improve sealing and lengthen O-ring life. In the process we also slightly increased the spacing of the oil line attachment points to provide improved access to the fittings.
This part is intended solely as a replacement for current Thompson Automotive Oil Filter Relocation kits. It ships with one replacement O-ring made of Viton, a longer lasting version of our original Buna O-ring.
The combination of the improved O-ring groove design & the Viton O-ring will certainly lengthen O-ring life and will hopefully make future O-ring replacements unnecessary.
